Just 15 minutes from Eden on the Princes Highway, this popular roadside rest area is set in native bushland in East Boyd State Forest. The perfect respite for travellers to take a break. There are overnight camping areas available.
It is located approx 700 metres from the highway, the GPS co-ordinates are for the entrance from the highway.

This is a great place to stay overnight. It has large areas for parking. Bit of road traffic noise, but not to bad. Has toilets, table and chairs scattered throughout and fire pits when allowed fires. Lovely clean bush park ??

Largish rest area beside the highway A1. Traffic swishes past but is not too intrusive.
Sites have been levelled for overnight parking.
A 700 metre drive along a rough bush track to get to the rest area, and it would be slippery if wet. New toilet building, tables, some shelters. Big trees overhead - beware of falling branches.
When driving north, be alert as it is easy to pass the entrance.

Have written review before. Since then, much of the area has been logged. Now fewer trees. Logs lying around. Track in still rough.
