Koondrook State Forest - Murray River Reserve

Free Camping - New South Wales

This free bush camping area is located on the banks of the Murray River.  It is a great place for bushwalking, 4WDriving, kayaking, fishing and just plain relaxing.  It is a ope, grassy forest area with plenty of shade.  There are no facilities here whatsoever so make sure you are self sufficient.  To access the camping area from the entrance of the state forest: travel 1.9km until you come to a fork in the road.  Turn right and travel 900 metre where you will see a track heading to the right.  Follow this track which will take you to your campsite!
