Crooked Creek Rest Area

Rest Area Overnight - New South Wales

Turn off the Bruxner Highway at GPS -28.925926, 152.316239 and follow the unsealed road veering right onto the fire trail.

Crooked Creek, Girard SF, is a small grassed area about 400m back from the Hwy. It is a basic camp/rest area with primitive drop toilets, a picnic table down by the creek and some shaded areas around the perimeter of the ground. The bordering creek is seasonal. Domestic animals and open fires are allowed unless signed otherwise.

Denise and I stayed there, it's peaceful, relaxing, picturesque & spacious. lots of walking/riding tracks. it also has a flashing loo.
