Wyper park is situated around 10 klms south of Bundaberg on the Isis Highway and is a delightful bush setting on the banks of the Burnett River. 

There is a caretaker on site and camping is allowed for a maximum of 4 days (council restrictions) Registration is by self registration. 

Camping is only allowed in the immediate vicinity of the caretakers residence. 

The site is closed during scouting events and when wet to preserve the grounds. 

There are toilets and showers but it is recommended you arrive with full water tanks and empty cassette as there is no dump point

There is no rubbish service to site so you are required to remove your rubbish when leaving.

To enter the site turn off highway at GPS co-ords listed then turn right and proceed to end of road to gateway.

Have stayed here several times over the years, grounds are level and amongst light forest. The site is not far off the Isis Highway and there is a bit of traffic noise during the day, but it quietens down at night. There are camp facilities, but we preferred to use our own. The four day time limit is imposed by council but you can return after a day away.

We loved staying at this place. Great bush camp. Has a camp kitchen, hot showers and flushing toilets. We went on all the bush walks and saw the spring fed little waterfall. Only let down is it is on the banks of the Burnett River but can’t get down to fish. Would be great it they made a track down to there too.
