Narromine Tourist Park and Motel

Caravan Park - New South Wales

The Narromine Tourist Park and Motel looks forward to welcoming the many local, interstate and international guests who stay at the park each year. They offer a safe, secure, and quiet stay, with clean and comfortable facilities. Their business is strictly for the tourist, contractor or traveller, with no permanent residents.

The Narromine Tourist Park and Motel is the quietest accommodation location in town. The park is set back off the highway, away from road noise, situated adjoining the Narromine Aerodrome which is only used by light aircraft.

During the summer season many international glider pilots from all over the world stay at the park, to enjoy the great soaring conditions of the Western area of NSW. The start of the cool season sees the migration North by travellers looking for the warm sun. The park is a popular stopover with spacious clean amenities, great showers, and plenty of room to drive onto a site, stay hitched, ready to make some miles the following day. The other attraction of Narromine is to bypass Dubbo. It is a great alternative to turn off the Newell Highway at Eumungerie from the North, Tomingley from the South, and bypass Dubbo with its busy streets, traffic lights and hectic roundabouts.

The accommodation is unique and promotes communication between guests. It is comfortable, clean and well maintained. One can sit on the verandah, enjoy the peace and quiet, listen to the bird life and hear the serenity. On the hot days you can cool off or relax by the inground pool.

The Narromine Tourist Park is very spacious, relaxing the quietest accommodation venue in Narromine.   No matter what size your rig is, they can fit you in.  Sites are grassed and the ground is secure. The park features large amenities with disabled facilities in both male and female.  It is a great place to meet up with friends. There is a camp kitchen, which includes fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and free gas barbeque. Please bring your own wood if you wish to use the camp fire. Weather and rural fire service permitting.

This is a quiet, easy going place, well grassed, but with few shade trees. The amenities are a bit institutional but clean and adequate. There is free wifi if you are prepared to sit near the office.

Park was a bit hard to find as have to turn into aerodrome and follow signs to park. It is signed off the road but could be clearer I think. Fairly small park and no shade or trees. Everything is pretty basic but new owners are trying hard to improve things. Plenty of shower & toilets and we were quite happy with their standard. Biggest issue was terrible TV reception. They have installed individual antennas for vans to connect to in a effort to improve but even with that we could not get anything except ABC to be watchable.
