Directions...
From Cairns:
- As you drive through Emerald Creek (where there is a Portsmith fuel station) you are only about 10km from Tinaroo Creek Road turn off
- Turn LEFT onto Tinaroo Ck Rd. There is a large, cream Ranbuild shed called “PGG Wrightson Seeds” near the turnoff * The turn into Tinaroo Ck Rd is a sharp turn, so do take it slow
- 300m along turn RIGHT on to Fichera Road – you will see the sign for Ringers Rest on the signpost. * Watch for the narrow bridge just along the way
- Follow Fichera Rd for about 3km. On your LEFT, look for black silhouette “Ringers” resting against the gate posts
- First driveway is Private - owner access only
- Second driveway (100m further ahead) is the ENTRANCE to Ringers Rest Venue & Motor Home Park
From Atherton or Mareeba:
- Tinaroo Ck Rd (on your RIGHT) is the next large intersection after the Anzac Avenue turn off to the Mareeba Bowls Club. Then follow directions 2...4 above
They also provide a couples' Glamping Accommodation called Ringers Rest Retreat:
Camp in luxury, in a deluxe bungalow tent overlooking the Eastern ranges, in a secluded location on the property. Complimentary evening treats await you and if you wish, a light continental breakfast can be provided for the following morning.
Everything is organised for you, ready for your arrival - simply bring your clothing, food, drinks, a good book and your sense of adventure!

We had a wonderful time using Ringers Rest as an exploration base. Don’t believe all Dave’s stories but he tells them so well. Do stay.

Spacious level sites, peace and quiet, spectacular sunsets, horses and cattle roaming. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

We just kept coming back. Ringers Rest is wonderfully central and a stones throw from Moreeba yet out in its own unique enviroment. Dave is a wonderful host. We enjoyed a unforgettable night around the campfire being entertained to some excellent country music, Dave's damper and his legionary camp fire yarns.

We stayed for almost 3 weeks at Ringers Rest. Dave’s stories & songs around the campfire are brilliant. He also cooks a damper every Sunday night ????. He even let us leave our van there while we went to the cape.... highly recommend this site, we can’t wait to get back there
