Blue Heeler Hotel Motel Caravan Park

Caravan Park - Queensland

The Blue Heeler Hotel Motel Caravan Park was established in 1889. It was here, it has believed that the "Waltzing Matilda" poem was first performed. Also weighing into the debate is Winton claiming that fame as well.

It has motel rooms as well a caravan park to enjoy a rest during your travels. Also, has licenced bar as well as pub meals.
A quirky country pub, inexpensive food, drinks and accommodation. Friendly staff. Banjo Patterson gave his first public performance of Waltzing Matilda here. Great sunsets visiting Brolgas. Very basic amenities, great for an overnight stop.

Pulled into The Jolly Swag-Van Park at Kynuna today. Big well numbered sights with power & water for $30 PN. The girls were greeted in the pub by the bloke with the cursory education. Make sure you read the sign with the chain covering it. Bring Mozzie/fly repellent if you're outside your van or the pub. We're here relaxing for 2 nights. " GO THE BLUES".

Great little place with awesome pub. Very clean amenities and big sites.
