Bigriggen Camping and Caravan Park is located in the Scenic Rim approximately 90 minutes from Brisbane and Gold Coast. It is set on 100 acres of high hilltops and gentle river flats surrounded by National Parks and bordered by the Logan River and Burnett Creek. There is nothing like the experience of camping in the Australian Bush whether it be pitching a tent or a little bit more luxury on one of our powered sites in your camper trailer or caravan. Our sites are large and spacious even suitable for Big Rigs. Bigriggen Camping and Caravan Park has a site for everyone. 

Enjoy the freshwater creek and river, swimming holes, bushwalking, national parks, visit local attractions, watch the kids riding their bikes, playing with the dogs, the birdlife, wildlife, go fishing, explore, enjoy the open space, sit around the campfire at night. Bigriggen Camping and Caravan Park is accessible to conventional vehicles as you leave the bitumen road you travel approximately 2 kilometres down a gravel road to our entrance. We are open every day except Christmas Day. Come and Stay Awhile

Bigriggen Camping and Caravan Park offers level, grassy, non-powered camping with plenty of shade, without the restriction of small designated sites. Easy access for caravans, buses, motorhomes etc. 

The amenities block has a Dump Point, flushing toilets, hand basins & hot showers that require $1 dollar coins for 5 minutes of hot water. 

Dogs also allowed, but must be leashed at all times

The kiosk is open each day from 8 am - 6 pm to provide you with everyday items such as bread, milk, ice, soft drinks, ice creams, firewood, L.P.G. refills etc. 

Fishing is also possible in the river that borders the camping ground. If you require action, there’s plenty to keep you occupied, including bush walking, pleasure canoeing (BYO), cycling (BYO), swimming, water sports at nearby dams, exploring the Scenic Rim and more .... there’s something for everyone! Or simply relax and let nature immerse you.

Very nice place , cost has gone up to $10.50 and dogs are allowed on a lead and also a lot of wild life to look at.

Nice camp ground but very limited facilities, only three showers for over 100 people when we were there. No camp kitchen. Great for kids camping with large open areas and no limitation on where in park you camp. Powered area was more cramped.

Big camp area with room for big rigs, powered sites available, almost unlimited non powered sites, river frontage, kiosk, hot showers $1 per 5 minutes metered. Dump point. Rubbish bins and clean toilets. Dirt road in good condition. Secure entry point controlled by electronic key pad. Dedicated fire pits. Dogs on lead.

Great park, location is great powered sites are not level so take plenty of packing. Owners/managers were at times very rude and obnoxious re a dog people we were there with had. There had been no complaints re the dog but cautions were issued a number of times. The dog was extremely friendly and only wanted to play/meet other people. In addition the booking process was a complete shame. They relied on paper records and at times could not read their own booking records. Would not stay there again.
