Well, you really should check it out, its about 20 minutes drive from the highway and worth every minute… you will not be disappointed. Brooms Head really is a hidden treasure – its a beach hideaway that’s as perfect as anything you could imagine. The beaches are perfect for surfers, fishermen and families and the views from the headland are truly breathtaking. The park is ABSOLUTE beachfront – you can’t get closer – with spacious hilltop cabins, beachfront camping and van sites and a friendly community atmosphere. Come, see for yourself...

Lovely location. Mobile phone reception is effectively non-existent. Reasonable mobile phone access is achievable on the headland at the far south end of the park. Showers and toilets are okay and pretty clean.

Very quiet backwater which is great for a relaxing break. Not much to do in town except walk, fish and swim. Water front sites available or on the headland which gets windy. Unable to get mobile phone reception most of the time which is great. Plenty of facilities although most will have to drive to the dump point. Recommended if you want to get away from it all.

Beautiful beachfront location, limited 4G LTE mobile phone access. Peak/Shoulder/Off Peak rates, beachfront or non-beachfront sites, Council no longer offers any discounts or concessions.

We stayed here in the latter part of February on the higher part which can be exposed to the wind at times. The lower section would provide more protection. The facilities, whilst older than many places, are well kept and clean. There are walks around the headland and beaches, easy access to the swimming beach, and rock holes. Overall a very relaxing atmosphere and enjoyable place to stay.
