To view the picturesque landscape of the area, head out to Clem Walton Park and Corella Dam, 57km west of Cloncurry on the Barkly Highway where you can forget about the rat race and lose yourself in the Aussie bush. Corella Dam was constructed on the beautiful Corella River in the late 1950’s for the purpose of supplying water for the township of Mary Kathleen. Enjoy the tranquillity of the area while trying your hand at fishing or enjoying a swim in the dam or a BBQ with friends and family.

Campermate on 5th September 2020 has a comment "closed due to illness of the owner". It tends to be more up to date than this app being more community based so we will look for somewhere else in the area.

Position of camp is incorrect on map bit confusing

awesome spot , best advise do not get there in the dark as tricky to find camping spots due to lots of roads. First gate off hwy appears locked but is not. if you are self sufficient you can camp any where, really busy with grey nomads. if you prefer a pretty quieter spot with a toilet then take first left, then left, then left at the closed farm gate fab spots all along river where you an swim bring your own wood and have a fire. No dump point here.
