This free bush camping area right next to the beach has a maximum stay of 30 days. It has plenty of shade available. It's a fisherman's delight / family swimming haven / photo buff's dream. As you wander out onto the long beach, you will come to a lagoon then you will walk onto more sand before you reach the ocean. Check out the black swans while you're here. Here you will find toilets with disabled access, BBQ's and dogs are allowed.

Unfortunately the toilets are in a poor state not been cleaned for quite some time probably due to the staff cut backs with Parks a real pity to see these assets not being maintained and a bigger pity to see those who use the facility not clean up after themselves.

We stayed there last Saturday great location but the toilets were filthy hadn't been cleaned in ages probably due to the cutbacks at Parks why don't people Clean up after themselves

Good free camp (with parks pass), campfires allowed, close to the beach. Hybrid drop / flush toilets were clean.
