Bushlands Tourist Park (also known as Windeyer Caravan Park) lies beside the rich gold bearing Long Creek in the historic village of Windeyer, in the picturesque hills of Central West NSW. Situated on six acres, visitors can relax under leafy shade trees in this tranquil grassy haven and enjoy watching the abundant bird life and local native animals.
Bushlands has a range of self contained accommodation to suit various groupings and budgets as well as standard cabins, retro caravans, powered sites, and camping areas. There is a sheltered camp kitchen and a large amenities block with laundry facilities. The general store is well stocked and open long hours; gold fossicking equipment can be hired.
Bushlands is a pet friendly park.
Next door is the Gold & Fleece Hotel, where the atmosphere is always warm and friendly and great meals are served from Thursday to Sunday.
The ideally situated Mudgee Observatory is only a 15 minute drive from Bushlands. Bushlands Tourist Park is 40km from Mudgee. Not far away are the old Gold towns of Sofala, Hargraves, Hill End, and Gulgong. The area is famous for top quality wines, olives, and honey.
Owners & staff will be sure to give you a warm welcome and the aim of us all at Bushlands is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible and that you and your friends will want to return.
