BIG4 Loxton Riverfront Caravan Park

Caravan Park - South Australia

Set on approximately 35 hectares along the majestic Murray River. This absolute river front park caters for everyone. You can relax by the river reading a book, fish and watch the river float by or get active on the river with your kayak, canoe, speedboat or houseboat. A great park for everyone.

Enjoy the wide open spaces that BIG4 Loxton Riverfront Holiday Park has to offer. Great family experience. Go for a canoe paddle down the river with the children. Try your luck at a spot of fishing or just sit back and relax. Go and visit the Loxton Historical Village and enjoy many hours looking around at the history. Go for a drive to see what the Loxton area has to offer. Or you could hit the walking tracks and take in the scenery. All in all you are sure to have amazing holiday.

We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our facilities. Our park has two ablution blocks that are cleaned daily, and the newest block has facilities for the disabled and a baby's bathroom. There are three barbecue areas in the park, and a huge area for the children to explore and play safely. There is a close swimming area on a sand-bar of the mighty Murray River. Activities include swimming in the Murray River from Sandy Beach, boating, canoeing and fishing. We have a basketball ring in a visible area away from caravans, a playground opposite the park and loads of bird life and native animals.

What a lovely spot to stay for a few days en route to wherever. Huge area, fantastic new amenities block, camp kitchen and outdoor eating area. Brand new laundry and lots of clothesline space. For those that are self contained potable water is available and the dump point is just outside the park. The overnight rate for self contained rv's is great at $9 per night. Will definitely come back again. Thanks Jane, Chris & Bradley

We stayed in the Dollar Wise Park, part of the CMCA Dollar Wise Network, for only $9 - dog friendly too! Great spot, really close to the river, and the park has set up 4 nice flat parking areas for self contained vehicles. There is a stunning walk set up across the floodplain, full of birdlife, just outside the park. We really enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely be back.

I have to echo the previous reviews - great spot! Very quiet at night. The dump point is an easy walk from the RV $9 sites - or a quick drive past as you’re leaving. Lots of bird life - even a few kangaroos passing by as we cooked our dinner.

Called in today and asked about CMCA. They have never heard of it. 4/4/22

Rang today to book into the RV area as I was with CMCA, was told by the lady who answered the phone that they are not doing any RV anymore. She called me Lov, not happy
