Beckom RV Stop

Free Camping - New South Wales

Grassy level area beside the now disused Bowling Club and across the road from the Pub.

Locals are very friendly.

There are electric BBQ's and limited powered sites.

A lovely, quiet spot. Little bowling club is now in ruins, but interesting. Nice toilet block. Free bar b que. Children's playground. Basketball court. Nice gardens and grass, but vehicles park on road base, which is quite level. Pub across the road hosts friendly locals. Drinks realistically priced. We were there on a Tues night and there were no meals available. We were welcome to plug in to the nearby power box. There is a voluntary donation box inside the pub. No trains went past on the nearby rail line while we were there. There is really nothing is not a "town". Great little stop over

A very nice spot for a lunchtime stopover. We would also keep this in mind for overnight as a delightful well presented location. Power available.

If you travel the Newell Highway make Beckom one of your stopovers!!' What a delightful little town even though there isn't much there, the publican is very friendly, the amenities were clean and tidy and hooking up to power not a problem. The area is flat with almost no noise from the train line. The pub serves meals and is currently open from 4pm. All of this for free - definitely my kind of place!!!
